Robert Jones, an experienced landscape photographer resident in Abergavenny, has made a donation of some of his photographic Waterfall series. Gwent Arts in Health have been proud to show Robert's work previously, and are grateful for the donated work which will be sited permanently in one of the hospital's ground floor corridors later on in the year.

The donation has been made in memory of Robert's mother who was a patient at Nevill Hall Hospital. More of his work can be seen at http://www.robertjones.com/.

About Robert Jones

Robert Jones was born in the South Wales valley town of Rhymney in 1946 and developed a keen interest in photography from an early age, always carrying a camera with him as he explored the surrounding landscape, especially the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast.

For many years he published the magazine Walking Wales and thoroughly enjoyed travelling thousands of miles each year through the ever-changing landscape that makes up our great Principality.

He's also travelled to many parts of the world whilst working in the travel market and recently returned to Wales to capture images of as many of its landscape 'treasures' as he could.

His special interest is in water whether as waterfalls, rivers, lakes or the sea, and there is a large selection of images on his website www.robertjones.com.

This exhibition is of some of the more well-known waterfalls and scenic landscapes to be found in Wales.
