GARTH invites you to an evening of seasonal songs, music and words in the beautiful candlelit St Marks Church in Newport. Dr Abdul Seckam and the Divas and Divos share their amazing talent alongside Newport-based community choir Cascapella. Special guests pop in with contemporary songs, and thoughtful words from Alan Roderick and Marega Palser!
The festive evening of music and song is in support of charity Gwent Arts in Health who work in partnership with the Aneurin Bevan UHB to deliver arts, health & wellbeing projects throughout the health-board region for patients, staff and the greater community.
Dr. Seckam – a talented singer, artist and Stoke Hub Wales Manager – has previously shared his musical talents in the festive season on behalf of GARTH, and this year, the Trustees are excited to host an in-person evening to kick off the festive season.
The evening will be opened Garth Chair Julian Hayman, and feature performances from Abdul Seckam, Charlie & Harry Eilbeck, Charley Medway, Dylan Pymble, Eleanor Thompson & Jo Westaway, accompanied by Helen Roberts; Musical Direction by Louise Ryan.
We will also be launching charity Christmas card box sets for you to purchase featuring ‘Jazzy the Giraffe’ – these are also available for £5.00 before the event – please contact Garth to order.
