“After training in Illustration at Southampton Institute I began to focus on local photography and painting, taking inspiration from the dramatic landscape of South Wales.
I walk frequently in the valleys and along the Gwent Levels (with sea views across the Severn Estuary) trying to capture the tranquillity and turbulence of the sky and the bright colours of the landscape.
Beyond Wales I paint scenes from my travels, emphasising street perspectives and scenes from everyday life. I work in oils.”
