To all staff at Nevill Hall:
Over the last two years, GARTH – Gwent Arts in Health – have supported a changing programme of work by local artists in the Outpatients waiting area at Nevill Hall Hospital.
This autumn, we would like to invite staff from the hospital to show us what they can do and ‘fill a frame’. The work will be shown in the Outpatients area from mid-November to January 2008. We hope to give staff the opportunity to show their creativity within the workplace.
We have up to 18 frames to distribute throughout the wards and departments to be filled by individuals or groups – you decide what you’d like to put on the wall and we will put them up together as a group exhibition in the Outpatient waiting area. The frames can accommodate any artwork up to size A3 – photography, painting, embroidery, collage, poetry and illustration.
How to get involved:
Register your interest with Sarah Goodey, Arts Manager for GARTH by contacting her at: garth.project@gwent.nhs.wales.uk, telephone 01633 23 4517 or 07976 375781.
You can also contact Tom Williams at Nevill Hall if you would like to discuss your ideas first.
Registration forms will be sent out to all entrants on 1st October.
We can only accommodate 18 frames, so entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, from those with an absolute commitment! You can enter as an individual, but we would welcome entries from teams/department
