Chrys Blanchard and Resonant Collective bring their annual sound healing project to Nevill Hall Hospital on Sunday 16th October. Musicians and performers will be inviting visitors to listen to (and join in if they wish) with a sound and music experience that explores how sound and music can aid the healing and recovery process.
The project will start with a series of events taking place at the hospital throughout the first two weeks of October, culminating in the main Soundscape event which will take place in the large ‘Out Patients’ Waiting Hall on the afternoon of Sunday October 16 between 2pm and 5pm.
There will be events at Nevill Hall leading up to the big day with live music in various departments including Out Patients. This project is supported by Gwent Arts in Health, and this year has been awarded funding by the John Lewis Music Matters Scheme.
