Outpatients Waiting Area, Nevill Hall Hospital, Brecon Road, Abergavenny NP7 7EG
Our new show at Nevill Hall features young artists Cerys Jackson and Coral Davies who are studying for their MA Arts Practice (Arts, Health and Wellbeing) at the University of South Wales. Both artists have already established themselves in working with the arts as therapeutic approach within Mental Health and Wellbeing with groups and participants.
Cerys Jackson’s work looks at how the act of creative participation is beneficial for wellbeing and has previously shown her artwork at Nevill Hall.
Coral Davies has a keen interest in older adult mental health. “Having a professional connection to working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients and a personal interest in the emotions that these patients go through fuels my current work and research.”
