Louella Gwillim is pleased to show some of her artwork at Nevill Hall Hospital Outpatients Department particularly as she has been a member of staff at the hospital over the last sixteen years.

Louella has been painting and drawing since attending the City and Guilds of London Art School in the mid 1970’s. She returned to South Wales in 1990 and has continued to draw and paint the landscape around Blaenavon where she lives and Monmouth where she grew up.

She works mainly in oil but draws in a variety of media including watercolour and pastels.  Some of these drawings are on display here.

This is the 23rd in a series of exhibitions in and around Nevill Hall Hospital, organised by Gwent Arts in Health. Garth is a local charity that aims to help realise the potential of the arts in promoting health and wellbeing.

We hope that Louella’s exhibition will encourage other staff members and visitors to volunteer their work for display. Any individuals or groups can show work in Nevill Hall Outpatients or in the display cases in the main hospital corridor. Please contact Garth if you have an idea for a show.
