On Display at Nevill Hall Hospital

New work from local Artists and Groups. We are pleased to be able to refresh our display cabinets with a range of artwork from local artists and groups.

Caldicot Art Group

The work on display here was made over 6 months by the Art Group that meets in Caldicot supported by Inside Out Cymru. Over this period of time, the group were working towards an exhibition called ‘Feast’ featuring drawing, mixed media and ceramics work, alongside other art groups from across Gwent. Lockdown has meant that the exhibition has been postponed but it is hoped that it will be shown as soon as safely possible. In the meantime, the group continues to meet remotely exploring different creative ideas in their homes.

Work on display here is by: Dee, Daniel, Matt, Paul, Gavin, John and Fred.

Inside Out Cymru is proud to offer long-term arts workshops in the community. We want to support people’s long-term recovery from mental illness, and this is something that takes time. Because of this approach, our workshops become an important part of people’s support networks and long-term friendships are developed. This in turn helps to reduce people’s experience of social isolation.
